Persuasion

Summary

Persuasion was written between 1815 and 1816, by Jane Austen.Persuasion concerns the social issues of her time and particularly the matter of class. Persuasion is the tale of the romance between Anne who meets the novel's hero, Captain Wentworth and in spite of social barriers and the rival Musgrove sisters - Louisa and Henrietta - pursues his affection even though she had turned him down as a husband. Accidents and various engagements ensue leading to what the reader hopes will be another finale of poetic justice and love.

My opinion.

I liked this book very much , but I read the short version.
It was a little difficult to follow because there were a lot of diferent characters.
I would like to recomend it.

France's Sarkozy woos youth vote

The leader of France's governing UMP party, Nicolas Sarkozy, has called for a break with the past in a keynote speech to young party activists. His speech, widely seen as the start of his bid for the presidency, centred on the theme of young people who he said had always shaped France's destiny. Mr Sarkozy, currently interior minister, promised a nation where those who worked hard would be rewarded.
He is hoping to be the UMP's candidate in next April's presidential election.
